Hayes plans to supply its OEM customers with lightweight steel wheels for automobile designs where reduced unsprung weight at little or no cost penalty is desirable.

Kühl Wheels: PASS ONE MILLION CYCLES IN RADIAL STRESS TEST

Los Gatos, CA — Epilogics is pleased to announce that its new, light weight steel wheel continues to survive rigorous testing. The Kühl Wheel endured one million cycles in radial stress tests which is twice the SFI specification and comparable to production OEM wheels. Designed for the Lincoln Town Car, the Kühl Wheel prototype was subjected to 3,375 lbf.
